Simply Stated: Earth-Friendly Entertaining Products

simply stated - eco-friendly entertaining

Hope everyone had a great “Earth Week”! It was so fun to hear all the “green” tips and ideas from around the blogosphere! To wrap the week up in theme, I highlighted a few more earth-friendly entertaining products over at Simply Stated: Celebrations today, and some rustic recycled glassware over at GlamDish .

Speaking of Earth Day , did anyone else catch Oprah on Tuesday when Julia Roberts was on with Sophie Uliano, the author of Gorgeously Green: 8 Simple Steps to an Earth-Friendly Life ?

I was at the dentist while it was on, so I was only catching bits and pieces, but the parts I saw were actually really funny (with the worms), and also very interesting…hopefully they’ll air it again soon. In reality I’m probably not going to have a worm composter on the porch anytime soon, but I guess you should never say “never”, right? ;) If anyone has the book or saw the entire episode, I’d love to hear what you think…

I saw that episode of Oprah and thought the worms were hilarious too! Especially when they startled her :) It was a fun show!

Love the bright look of that bamboo dinnerware!

I did see the entire thing and the worms were the best part! I do wish there were more shows like that on though because I always get a new tip or two. I bought a SIGG bottle after the show. I am going to try and cut out all plastic bottles this year!

Love the Bambu products above. I am going to check them out!

I don’t have the book yet, but I saw the feature on Oprah and it looks like a great resource! The reviews on Amazon are really good too!

Glad to see so much being said and done this Earth Week- lets try and keep it going the entire year! By the way, bamboo is such a great renewable wood- good to see it being used in everything, including flooring.
