Easy Snowy Meringue-Drop Brownies

Snowy Meringue Drop Brownies Recipe

Here’s a fun, easy idea for turning brownies into cute little “winter-y” desserts! These would look fabulous on the dessert table at a holiday party or winter bridal/baby shower… You can use your own favorite brownie recipe – OR just use store-bought brownie bites like I did here to keep things super quick & easy. Gotta love those short-cuts sometimes!

All you need for the topping is powdered sugar, a sifter, frosting, and meringue drops. (I also used store-bought meringue drops, but you can always make them yourself if you’re feeling really ambitious!)

Here’s a quick pictorial of the how-to:

1. Set your brownie bites or squares on a tray, then give them a quick dusting of powdered sugar. Using a sifter will ensure that the powdered sugar coats the brownies evenly.

These already look cute and “snowy” with just the powdered sugar!

2. Pipe little dabs of frosting on the bottom of the meringue drops to attach them to the brownies. I used a ziploc bag here to do the piping.

And you’re done! SO simple but so cute… don’t you just love it when things work out like that?

P.S. To add to the winter-y feel – these brownies are displayed on a dish that’s been sprinkled with coconut flakes and dusted with powdered sugar. Another easy tip for “snowy” presentation!

I’ve never had this particular confection, but I do like the ingredients all by themselves so maybe I’ll try it…
