“Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it’s off to PARTY we go…” ;) This 7 Dwarfs inspired birthday party by Qeryldine of Confetti Couture is absolutely darling!
I’m especially loving the adorable dessert table, which was designed to look like the entrance of a mine with oh-so-clever DIY “mining cars” carrying the caramel apple toppings – how cute is that?! Also love that the wheels on the mining cars were fashioned from painted wood discs & buttons… such a sweet touch. In addition to the do-it-yourself caramel apples, guests also enjoyed “Miner’s Brew” (rootbeer floats), cupcakes topped with forest creatures, a party favor “treasure hunt”, and more.

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Qeryldine…
“This 7 Dwarfs party was in celebration of my daughter’s 5th birthday. While I typically don’t encourage a character as a theme, my daughter covets her seven stuffed dwarf dolls, and loves to wear her Snow White gown. So, I opted for the “B-list” characters and went for a character party with character and charm.
I love 3-D invitations! This one is made from a small window tin. I filled it with dry beans and glittery beads (the jewels). The invitation was printed using digital elements from Shabby Princess. The words peek through the window of the tin with the party details. On the inside are instructions to mine for the beads and make a necklace with the enclosed cord.
The color palette was inspired by the adorable 7 Dwarf dolls. The Dwarfs are miners, of course, so we set up a “mine” outside. The brilliant red leaves in our backyard made the perfect backdrop for the caramel apple decorating table. Whimsical red and white polka dots, rustic browns, and pops of chartreuse green became the color scheme.
The dessert table was set to look like the entrance of a mine, with mining cars filled to the brim with toppings for the caramel apples. The hand painted designs on the Dessert Skirtz cupcake wrappers from Confetti Couture made them perfect for displaying the finished caramel apples. Sweet Stickz – charming wooden lollipop sticks also from Confetti Couture – were used as the apple sticks. I just love the wooden bead on each stick!
I also used the cupcake wrappers on the snack table for the cupcakes and more apples. The tags and labels for the dessert table and throughout the party were made with digital elements from Shabby Princess.
The guests enjoyed making their own caramel apples by dipping them in the warm caramel and decorating them with the variety of toppings. They made some to eat at the party and some to take home. There was a second snack table, and we made root beer floats dubbed “Miner’s Brew“! The guests were thrilled to run and play outside in the perfect weather. Finally, we searched for the party favors, treasure hunt style. Each party guest followed the clues to find their prize.
The party favors were small lanterns filled with gumballs. The giant, chartreuse striped bow made these “thanks for coming to my party” gifts extra sweet.
It turned out to be a delightfully fun, magically sweet party filled with family and friends!”
