Now that I’m doing event coordinating and floral design full time, I am so excited to be the newest regular contributor for Hostess with the Mostess! This week I wanted to share a DIY Wedding centerpiece idea that is not only packed with beautiful textures, but is also great for the environment since we are using recycled plastic containers!  The neutral color palette, combined the natural element of the bark, gives this centerpiece an earthy and warm feeling. Imtaz from Love Pretty Party did a fabulous job styling this Burberry Baby Shower for an expectant couple that happens to be very fond of the iconic British brand. In addition to the fantastic trench coat cookies, one of my favorite details has got to be the amazing diaper cake that’s shaped like a baby carriage! And the table centerpieces were coordinating mini diaper cakes decked out in the same burberry inspired ribbon.. so clever!

We’re dressing up Dad’s favorite treats with a shiny silver crown made out of, yep you guessed it, duct tape!  Not only is this an inexpensive craft (you probably already have all of the supplies on hand) but its simple enough to get the kiddos involved and can be done at the last minute… say, late Saturday night when you realize that Father’s Day is tomorrow!
