PARTY DETAILS, as told by Nancy

My daughter, Hanna Sofia, turned 6 years old.  She is as girly as can be! She adores all things princess. Sofia the First is the newest Disney princess and she is in love with her! I loved the idea and challenge of this princess party. There aren’t many things out there yet.

Petite Party Studio designed the princess inspired invitation, tags, labels and signs.

Sofia the First dress was custom made in Mexico. My birthday girl loved it!  She felt like a true princess! A gorgeous tiara from was custom made as well.

I kept the same color scheme as the princess in purple, lavender and white.  I handmade many of the decorations including carriages, banners, table runners and more.

The girls enjoyed getting their nails and make up done, they liked coloring Sofia the First pages, made a magic wand and decorated some cardstock crowns and the biggest hit was breaking the pinata!

We enjoyed a lemon and carrot castle cake, castle chocolate pops, candy, cupcakes and delicious chocolate covered strawberries by Inspired Sugar.

Each little girl received a castle box with a princess bow inside, a Sofia the First necklace, a ring and a purple crown.

  11. […] Hostess with Mostess featured a party that was elegant and full of Princess activities.  Every little girl love to get her nails painted, so have a beauty salon station and let girls pick out a color to be painted on their nails by an adult.  I would recommend purchasing the quick dry top coat at your local beauty store so that you’re not fixing smudged nails the whole time.
