twitterpated bambi party dessert table

Although it’s one of the most beloved Disney movies of all time, Bambi parties are pretty few and far between (maybe because parents don’t want their kids to see the super sad part at the beginning?) So it’s a treat that Lauren Borquez of Capes & Crowns is sharing this Vintage Bambi Twitterpated Dessert Table full of springtime elements & absolutely gorgeous desserts. For those of you who may not know, “Twitterpated” is the feeling of being in love (according to Bambi’s friend owl). So I guess you could say, I’m Twitterpated with this adorable party! ;)

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

  • Gorgeously hand-painted cookies with gold detailing featuring Bambi & his friends becoming Twitterpated
  • Green topiaries & purple paper hydrangeas + garden flower & bird decorated cookies stacks
  • Rustic tiered naked angel food cake with whipped cream, wild berries, thyme twigs & a pinecone topper
  • Hand-painted wooden peg characters, vintage Bambi children’s book + a Bambi, Thumper & Flower backdrop
  • Toadstool cookie ice cream sandwiches, blue flower cake pops + Bambi topped brownies & chocolate Oreos

PARTY DETAILS as told by Lauren

I loved executing this theme! I wanted to do something that reminded me of spring for this issue of Bird’s Party Magazine. I enjoy classic themes but always try to challenge myself and create something that hasn’t been done before. I had this theme in my head for quite some time. I originally planned for it to be a Valentine’s setup and play up the pairing of the animals but I decided to have the theme centered more around springtime with a vintage woodland feel. I love how it turned out :). I am so grateful for all of the talented ladies that were a part of this!

“It could happen to you, or you ….” Twitterpated :)
