“Celebrate Me.” {Fresh & Modern Spring Party}

Spring… the season symbolic of growth and youth and a time for all things FRESH and NEW! Why not host a party based on a combination of all of those things!? This “Celebrate Me. Spring Party” hosted by Theresa of Lauren McKinsey manages to to do just that…

Theresa’s FRESH inspiration came from wanting to host a party for children to celebrate their individuality, creativity, and inquisitiveness. This NEW party theme was designed to provide children with an afternoon of creative fun and laughter, while also reinforcing self-confidence and self-worth. I really love the strategic use of positive affirmations found on the custom party accessories that Theresa designed. My favorite party element was the clever “Creative Me Station” designed to inspire the imagination!

Modern & Creative “Bubbles” Baby Shower

Bubbles Baby Shower Dessert Table

I’m BUBBLING with excitement that Jenn asked me to share with you today the “She’s going to POP” bubbles themed baby shower that I helped host back in the Fall. The design elements of this baby shower manage to combine two worlds…modern & chic with a touch of playful whimsy; the perfect combination for a stylish mom getting ready to experience the magic of motherhood!

Party elements and decor were centered around the “bubbles motif” invitation I designed and the focus was completely on playing off of the word “POP“.

Sweet As Can BEE Housewarming Party

“Bee” prepared to be swept away by the sweet details of this honey-themed housewarming party hosted by Kori of Paper and Pigtails! She did an absolutely “bee”autiful job welcoming friends and family into her new home.

By using a simple theme inspired by the various types of honey that are readily available at the abundance of farmer’s markets in her new town and choosing a color palette based on the color of her new house, Kori was able to keep things warm and sweet – everything a home should be! And although this open house was hosted in the Fall, this theme transitions easily into a spring or summer housewarming by simply replacing the wheat bundles for bouquets of fresh daisies.

The photos that follow are buzzing with inspiration“BEE” sure to read on for all of the sweet-as-honey details…
