I am a retired ER nurse, but was always involved in my girls schoolsl. I have given many showers & hosted parties. My kids always had a theme BD party at home. I planned & put on my wedding in 5 days! I also have worked in the bridal/wedding business. I never took many pictures except of my wedding 20yrs ago & my Daughters wedding 4yrs ago. What was I thinking? I was just having fun doing my thing for the love of it. I love baking breads, cakes, cupcakes, cookies. I don't like Chocolate

Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 09:40:PMI am going to be giving a bridal shower to my niece within the next 4 to 6 weeks. It seems that her maid of honor and her brides maid have a major lack of funds, the MOB and the bride paid for their dresses and shoes. I just found this info out and I really want her to have a shower. She is so deserving and has not had an easy life, but has come out on top of every challenge. My thought is to give her a proper linen, china, nice shower using her colors, I have all the stuff. Her mom suggested a theme that is a little "different like she is". Any suggestions? I don't have much time. Thanks
