We are all used to the traditional boys' superhero party, but it isn't often that two girly-girls want a superhero party! So, I decided to do a spin on superheroes and add a girly flair with tutus, tulle, bling, and a fun girly color scheme....titling the party Girls Gone Superheroes! The girls are sisters, so they were the superhero duo...one turning four and one seven. They both wore black leotards and tights with a super fun fuschia cape with yellow lining and their initials on the back in turquoise. They were accompanied by a yellow girly mask and very full fuschia, yellow, and a touch of turquoise tutus. They looked adorable! I created a Gotham City photo set for a picture backdrop. All the kids and parents loved this! Each child was welcomed with a cape and mask they got to decorate in the "Bling your Mask" station. I created a backdrop for cake station that was a downtown skyline. There were an assortment of vintage style candies in the color scheme, mini cupcakes, and a large circle cake in the center. It was very colorful and definitely the focal point of the party. Of course this party wouldn't have been complete without Batman and Batgirl showing up! We had two great entertainers come and do superhero training camp with the kids, as well as face painting and games. The party was a huge success!
