My daughter wanted to go to Paris more than anything for her 9th birthday. Of course that was not possible. So I brought a Paris Birthday Party home to her instead. Her guests arrived to experience a crepe fete. After brunch the girls were asked to explore their artistic talents and paint a canvas. While the artwork dried, all of her guests made their own "bottle cap jewelry" displaying their favorite french images along with their initials. Instead of a large birthday cake, I made individual cupcakes for each of the girls. The girls crafted and danced the afternoon away. It was a beautiful Bon Anniversaire. I do wish I would have thought to invite someone to the party that could have taught them a bit of French- I think the girls would have loved it!
