S dessert table for a boy's first communion. Using this vintage, distressed dresser as our table set the scene for a modern, vintage feel. I painted the wooden letters in white for his initials and used them as part of the decor. The sweets table was included a small quilted cake, red velvet and vanilla cupcakes with custom made toppers by a local vendor here in my area. Of course custom designed chocolate dipped oreos from Sweeties by Kim were a must. We had three designs: the little's boy's initials, a gold cross, and a damask design. We round the table off with cake pops and these whimsical mustache cookies that the kids loved and had fun taking pictures with. My last design element was the baby's breath that I used to bring to height and scale to the table. I balanced it off with a smaller vase with some springs of baby's breath. I think it game the a very light feel but also reflected the special feel of the first communion,
