    • I apologize for the late response! I did not see your comment until now. I usually post my parties and then don't login again until I have another one. Here is what the invitations says. "To Lady Roberta of House Brown My Lady, King Robert of House Baratheon, the first of his name, King of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm is dead. The Seven Kingdoms brace for battle in what shall be known as The War of Five Kings. To whom shall you declare your fealty? On the 5th of October two thousand and thirteen in the 4th hour of the evening let your choice be known. When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground."

I created this party with the inspiration of the godswood/weirwood tree. The invitations included ravens and wax seals. I purchased a dragon wall decal from Etsy and adhered it to the celing. I purchased some red leaves from my local Safeway and Michaels and hot glued them to branches I painted white. I already had this 'tree shaped' candle holder on hand but did not want to paint it white so I sprayed it with some spray snow and let it dry also found at any craft store. For the table I wanted to use a red table cloth for a more dramatic touch.

I adored my two beveled mirrors which I used as a 'runner' with snow sprayed pine cones, spanish moss, other pieces of moss, and silver skull picture holders. As for the buffet table I had some Game of Thrones 'Take the black' Stout available for one of the winners of the games I had available along with the Game of Thrones graphic novel. You may also notice Viserys Targaryen just hanging out with his golden crown. This was made with a plastic skull that I dripped with candle wax and painted with gold metallic paint. I think it turned out splendidly. I made several food items a few to behold are lemon cakes, strawberry tart and apple turnovers.

Hope you all enjoy! Winter is coming!
