This Vintage Rose inspired baptism was created for my daughter, Clara.

I knew I wanted this sentimental occasion absolutely perfect and when it comes to planning, I am a stickler for details and could not wait to get started. I put together an inspiration board and came up with the colour palette of soft pink and white. I also incorporated pretty lace, pearls and pink doilies, which suited the concept perfectly.

Clara's gorgeous three tier white chocolate mud cake, (which had a soft pink ombre effect inside) was breathtaking. The cake was created by the talented Karen at Caking It Up, and was adorned with edible lace, hand piping and pretty sugar flowers.

The cookies, cupcakes and cake pops (also, by Caking It Up) were delicately embellished to match the cake and scheme, and created a beautiful display on the dessert table.

Once I had organised the desserts, I worked on styling and sourced props to match the theme. With the flowers, I wanted to create a soft and pretty look and went to the Sydney Flower Markets the day before the event and purchased Hydrangeas, Roses and Dusty Miller foliage. My beautiful mother helped me put together the arrangements, which were used as part of the table centrepieces and behind the dessert table.

Clara's beautiful invitations were created by the amazing Angela at Four Peas in a Pod, featured the pink and white colour palette, a lace boarder, and a pink fabric flower encrusted with pearls and crystals. Also, in keeping with the scheme were the guest place cards, and pearl framed bomboniere.

The gorgeous dessert table printables, table numbers, bunting and personalised chocolate bars, featured a delicate vintage rose image, which added to the finer details of the sacred event.

I created the guest table seating plan using a gold antique looking frame, with pink doilies that were also used within the table centrepieces.

The amazing mirrored welcome sign, added to the beautiful ambience as guests walked in the doors.
