Sprinkled With Love Baby Shower (40 photos)
I co-hosted this sweet, surprise baby shower with my friend, Brittany. She found the adorable "Sprinkle with Love" invitations from the Esty shop LuckyBean33 https://www.etsy.com/listing/126970984/sprinkle-baby-shower-cupcake-invitation?ref=shop_home_active_9 and then we just went from there. We used the pink, green and brown in the invitations throughout the party.
We designed our dessert table around a cupcake sprinkle bar. I made Confetti cupcakes with pink lemonade frosting and guests could choose from a variety of sprinkles. We used brown kraft paper as our backgroud. We made tissue paper tassels and strung them to make a garland. I already had the sprinkle fabric from another project, so I made a runner for the table from it. Perfect!
Other desserts included sprinkle dipped chocolate covered strawberries, sprinkle dipped pretzel rods and lemon bar muddy buddies that were sprinkled, of course.
For savory goodies, Brittany made Ham and Cheese party rolls and spinach dip bowls. We also had herbed goat cheese and a veggie tray. Our beverages included tea, lemonade, a fabulous sparkling pink grapefruit sangria.
For favors, we bought pink striped and green striped treat boxes from Party City. We filled them with a delicious sweet and sprinkled popcorn. We bought a can of both green and pink spray paint and painted anything we could, picture frames and cakestands.
We wrote baby Kiersten's name on a chalkboard and added a tiny little tassel garland. We had green striped straws with pink flags bearing our theme "Sprinkle with Love!" For the dining table, we used a simple burlap runner, wooden frames with the baby's initials and a simple arrangement of Bottlebrush branches.
Our last minute craft was a corsage for the guest of honor, Kimberly, made from Bottlebrush and tiny tissue paper tassels.
