This was a baby shower I tried to copy from thee HWTM. The theme is a girly, rain inspired baby shower that included everything from elephants to bubble umbrellas to rain boot center pieces, most of which I tried as best I could to copy HWTM because I truly loved how their party came out. I purchased the "showered with love" invitations and all the party printables to match. I had lots of dark pink tulips, especially in the ceramic rain boot center pieces I mimicked by following the instruction provided by HWTM. I also had them sitting in the middle of felt covered, foam board, cloud cut outs embellished with felt hearts and fabric flowers. On the tables I also had the silverware I wrapped in a pink napkin and tied together with an elephant-on-a-heart napkin ring I made as well as the favors: sweet pea scented soap along with a wash cloth. I decorated some of the windows with paper-circle and rhinestone garland that I made and an hombre' red heart garland was hung behind the food table. I had bubble umbrellas embellished with ribbon hanging from the ceiling. Guest were treated to a huge buffet of fruit, muffins, scones, doughnut holes, croquetas, pastelitos, bocaditos, tortillas españolas, chicken salad, a pastel de pollo, mini croissants and bagels, papa la huancaina (a Peruvian potato dish), a honey baked ham and a French toast casserole. For dessert I had my aunts legendary alfajores (a Peruvian dessert consisting of a cookie sanwich with a dulce de leche filling), a vanilla rum cake and red velvet cake pops. For drinks I had a mimosa bar with strawberry lemonade, peach-mango, cranberry and orange juices as well as water. At the entrance I had everyone sign their name on a heart in place of a sign- in book. I I don't really like the typical baby shower games so I had a wishing cloud activity, a "late night diapers" activity, a headband making station and a photo booth.
