We planned this Dr Seuss themed party for my son who turned 2 in February. The party came together in 3 days ( I initally wasn't planning on having a big party!). We hung a custom ribbon backdrop as the focal point for the breakfast spread. We kept it really casual and had tons of things for the kiddos to enjoy. We put out a griddle and made fresh farm egg scrambles, fresh squeezed orange juice straight from the garden, and banana pancakes. We offered a "Breakfast Sundae" station where the kids used a bamboo boat to build their sundae out of bananas, yogurt, granola, and fruit.

The party was set up by the pool which created a stunning backdrop for the whole day. The kids played in their kiddie pool which was filled with "Bippolo Seeds" (balls and water balloons).  They also had a blast carrying around the giant star and moon balloons which we weighted with tissue paper garlands.

The night before the party, I cutout the letters for a banner out of old map that read "Oh, the places you'll go." I loved how it turned out. My friend painted the Dr Seuss themed artwork and shoes which we sat on top of our vintage travel themed pallet suitcase highboy. I cut out a larger than life "2" out of insulation foam. We also had a kite making station where the kids could decorate a kite. On the kids table, we made a Truffala Tree for a centerpiece out of feathers and a styrofoam ball. For florals, we used pieces of wheatgrass and gerber daisies. It's a really simple and fun way to create a whimsical Dr Seuss world without too much work or money.

The cake, created by Elizabethan Desserts, was the perfect Seuss themed cake. The strawberry shortcake flavor was the perfect way to end a beautiful breakfast/brunch.
