I recently partnered with wedding planner, Laura Ahern of Accent on Events, to bring some 4th of July wedding inspiration - 1940's style! We wanted to incorporate the red, white and blue color scheme, but in a classy way that could be used for today's wedding couple any day of the year. We added touches of the 1940's with her hair/make-up and shoes, while adding today's modern details like the menu and dress. To add some Patriotic flair we also incorporated fun sparklers, vintage tootsie rolls, and American flag bunting.
