Hostess With The Mostess

Baby Drake makes everyone smile!  His first birthday asked friends and family to step right up for a big show to celebrate a happy little guy.  Including all things carnival, guests ate, played, and enjoyed an afternoon under the big top.

Decor:  The interior of the house became a concession stand fit for a carnival king, while the backyard was turned into a midway of games to thrill wee party guests. 

Food:  Popcorn, peanuts, cotton candy, snow cones, soft pretzels, corn dogs... everything you'd dream to find at those little carnival booths.  A dessert table featured popcorn cupcakes (the popcorn were marshmallows cut and hand-painted), rice treat ice cream cones, and a miniature small cake for our little clown.

Activities:  Kids bounced in the 'little top' bounce house, rode the mini coaster, fished in the duck pond, tested their skill in the ring toss and ball throw.  The littlest guests roamed amongst the menagerie on a cozy blanket with stuffed circus animals. 

Favors:  Party guests were treated to everything and anything sweet.  Clown noses, sugar sticks, big top sippy cups, and giant lollipops left in happy and sugared-up hands.
