Hostess With The Mostess

This intimate backyard wedding was loosely inspired by the film The Party, starring Peter Sellers. The bride and groom wanted a 1960s bohemian vibe with elephant accents in the colors of the sunset. I've known the bride for about 8 years and was one of her bridesmaids, but I also served as event designer and coordinator for this totally homegrown wedding. My job was to make her vision come together and I absolutely love the result! ALL the vendors involved in the day were friends and/or family of the bride and groom. As a result the whole thing was incredibly personal and fabulous! These are my photos from the day (pro photos will be posted to my blog later).
