Hostess With The Mostess

I was asked to style a friend's wedding using her keywords of "southern and casual" but with a modern and elegant twist.  I used colors of chartruese, white and gray with pops of purples and fabrics in lace, modern graphics and seersucker. I designed wedding stationary using a theme of mason jars, which were also used throughout the wedding in many of the diy projects.  I made handmade buntings and fabric flowers which were attached to mason jars for drinks.  (These were actually repurposed from my son's first birthday, and determined the color scheme for the wedding.) 

This was a definite eclectic mix of patterns and materials all to give a sweet southern feel to this backyard wedding.
