When one of my long-time friends told me that she was having a baby, I immediately called dibs on the baby shower. She is having a baby girl and I wanted to have an afternoon tea party using my Vera Wang china, which is platinum and blossom green. Pink and green are a great combination and it took off from there! My friend loves Ann Taintor, so I had personalized Ann Taintor green and pink invitations made. I found some green tissue pom-poms and paired them with pink paper lanterns that I still had from my wedding. My talented sister created the food cards, inspired by the shower invites. I bought some newborn girl onsies at Carter and hung two clothes lines up in my dining and living rooms. I used my son's silver cups for decor to add an extra touch of baby!
