monster bash (2 photos)
My daughter Gracie wanted a halloween party, and as always mommy is always up for a good party. This was my first halloween party so I wanted it to be really special. Because it was a party for pre-schoolers, I wanted it to be playfull, colorfull and not scary.
I am such a bargain shopper, that all of my parties are very budget friendly, but they looks like I spent a fortune.
Believe it or not walmart do make fabulous cupcakes and so I started their. I had them frosted the cupcakes in these bright colors. For the monster gummy eyes and mouth I bought those from oriental trading and decorated the cupcakes myself. The spider cupcake stand was purchased at the christmas tree store.
The monstercups I purchased also from oriental trading.
Halloween paper lanters and other decorations were also purchased from oriental trading.
The spider webs were purchased from K-mart.
The fabric I used for the table linens I always purchased from walmart. It is usually cost effective and you can reuse them for other parties.
The throw pillows were from the christmas tree store, along with some of the gifts for the goodie bags. The halloween favor bags were also purchase at the christmas tree store.
