Hostess With The Mostess

We wanted to create a very modern bridal tea.  The first thing that we decided was to throw out any thought of pastel colors or traditional British tea sets.  Instead, we opted for vibrant colors like red, white, black and a touch or tangerine.

For fun we chose a petitie serving theme complete with mini vanilla bean cupcakes topped with delicate fondant poppies.  Chilled mimosas, couscous salad, tea sandwiches, and individual spoon servings of poundcake and fresh fruit completed the menu.

My favorite details were the handcrafted paper poppies, tea bag shaped mini invitations, and custom tea bags.
