Entertainment: Captain Silly Bones, http://www.piratemagic.net/
Decor: Using decor found in my sister-in-law's nautical themed family
room, I was able repurpose many items to create a festive dessert
spread.
Tables: I created 3 tables for the event
1) Dessert table filled with the birthday boy's favortie candy, and
his MUST-HAVE, rainbow-sprinkled marshmallow pops.
2) Favors: Each child received a pirate tote and I displayed all the
"pirate's booty" so they could fill their bags up. Candy bags were
also provided for each child to take home.
3) Activity Table: Color me, Matey's! Pirate-themed characters and
markers were provided for the kids to color and take home.
4) Entertainment: Captain Silly Bones, a local favorite in the DC
area, was on hand to provide a 2 hour interactive birthday event. Story
telling, tattoos, and scavenger hunt made this an adventorous afternoon!
