Bennett's Mustache Bash (33 photos)

This was in the entryway and used as a welcome for the guests. It included baby pictures of the Mommy and Daddy-To-Be along with other "little man" touches, books and boy items.

Hey Mommy of 1... We actually used the cricut to cut out the different mustaches and glasses. However, there are lots of places on Etsy that sell already cut ones! :)

Bennett's Mustache Bash was inspired for my sweet baby boy on the way! I fell in love with the mustaches I had been seeing on blogs and when we found out we were expecting a boy - my family really ran with it and created the most perfect baby boy shower! (I'm submitting on their behalf because I am OBSESSED with it - I am bias though!)

The location was at a clubhouse, so we were able to bring in everything we wanted - food, decor, etc.  We wanted to use the mustache theme, but also to incorporate other "little man" items.  My mom found the hysterical "neck tie" napkins  and cute mustache buttons that were at each plate - we made guests put them on before getting their food! We used the Cricut machine to cut out paper mustaches and glasses that were set around the tables for photo opportunities.  We also used random ties throughout. We found various bunting online and my mom made the torn fabric ones by tying the ripped fabric along twine. The centerpieces were mums in silver buckets and some torn ribbon tied on.  In the mums, we placed "mustache cards" that had descriptions of different mustaches.  It made for a cute conversation piece!

The food was made with love by various family members.  It was a cold and rainy October afternoon, so we enjoyed homemade tortilla soup, broccoli and cheddar cheese soup, "bowtie" salad, along with colorful fruit kabobs.  We enjoyed "cigars" (pretzel rods dipped in icing), chocolate mustaches on sticks,  and an assortment of cupcakes made by my husband's cousin. It was so yummy!

We had random details around the shower including lots of mustache quotes or mini mustache posters. We also had ties in various places to go along with the "little man" theme. We found our inspiration through Pinterest and various others blogs who did their own version of a mustache bash! It was fun to think of a few of our own ideas as well!

It was surely a family affair and one to remember!  It was perfect! :)
