Gritty, 1970's punk rock meets Betsey Johnson. This is where we went for our entry into the Inspired Creations Contest. Inspired Creations is a design challenge hosted by Elizabeth Anne Designs and The Sweetest Occasion for wedding vendors to team up and create an original wedding concept to inspire engaged couples.
Punk rock for us means safety pins, booze, graffiti, and lipstick on mirrors. So, we used safety pins to attach escort cards to a glittery backdrop. We did lipstick pen favors for the girls and Jim Beam with custom labels for the dudes. We spray painted a bathroom mirror gold and used hot pink lipstick to write the table name on it. And we created a graffiti board “guest book” that wedding guests could spray paint, ultimately creating a piece of art that our newlyweds could display in their home.
To up the glam factor, we took a black sequined table linen and added gold chargers, gold-rimmed glassware, and gold flatware to the place setting. We spray painted wooden folding chairs gold. And for a pop of pink, we added hot pink napkins and puffy pink flowers.
And finally, we created a cocktail rimmed with gold edible glitter, and hot pink glowing ice cubes. Check out what our amazing team created below, and you can also see our entry posted on The Sweetest Occasion. Enjoy!!!
