Hostess With The Mostess

Our sweet baby girl, Annabelle's first birthday party was "Annabelle's ONEderland", obviously inspired by "Alice in Wonderland". My husband is British, so we wanted a "real" teaparty but with a whimpsical, childish, over the top theme for our baby girl's big day!! My husband and I, along with my parents, worked for a few weeks to make sure every detail was covered. Every one loved the party, especially the birthday girl!
 

We discovered The French Confection several years ago when they made our wedding cake, and we've been going to them for all of our special cakes ever since. I knew they would make Annabelle's cake one to remember; they surpassed even my greatest expectations!!

Our favorite florist, Accent Designs, designed beautiful arrangements, both in tea pots and Mad Hatter hats for the tables, again exceding anything I could've imagined.

Nashville's "Balloon Lady" created an incredible "Rabbit Hole" out of colorful balloon arches that the kids had a great time going back and forth through during the party. It was certianly the "entrance" our sweet girl deserved!

I found the design for the invitations and other paper goods by MJCorder on Etsy. It was fun to have them professionally designed, but be able to do the work for the party myself rather than hire someone else to do it. Afterall, it was my baby girl's big day!
