I threw this party last summer for all of my stay at home mom friends. The kids were home for the summer and we were in desperate need of a "Mommy Time-Out." I came up with the theme "Kocktails without Kids" and went from there.
I designed mini wine bottle labels and placed them over the existing labels. Then I hand delivered each wine bottle and that served as the invitation!
Guests were greeted at the front door by a welcome table that inlcuded a cocktail and a wreath I made. I lined the entry way with black and white striped wrapping paper and candles.
The food table was full of miniature sized food including, ceaser salads, baked tortellini, bruschetta, kabobs, and spinach artichoke dip.
I turned a $5 tv cart I found at Goodwill into a pretty bar car that held wine, vodka and mixers.
The dessert table showcased local favorite sweets. I placed them on my black writing desk and placed a vinyl chandelier as the back drop.
Guests took home a bottle of Starbuck's coffee for the morning!
