Well, Thanksgiving is here! This year we are headed to my in-laws in the Berkshires to celebrate Thanksgiving. Even though I will not be hosting, I still thought I'd share what my table would like. This Thanksgiving Tablescape is very easy to replicate and has lots of DIY elements. What's more this could easily be used for other occasions as well! The cream, chocolate brown, and gold color palette exudes fall, while the burlap, wood tray and lanterns add a rustic feel to it. The addition of the crystal glasses and china add just a touch of elegance. Everything I used on this table came from my home except for the flowers that I bought at the grocery store for $9.99. That centerpiece was so easy to make and the effect is stunning. I already had the wood tray, purchased last year from Pottery Barn. I started with fresh cranberries in each section of the tray then I added the apples and the pomegranate (yes, I did have that on hand too. I added the cinnamon sticks (purchased from Michaels) for both texture and lovely scent; I then pulled apart the grocery store flowers and cut them to size. I added them in as I saw fit. I LOVED the end result. The napkins were tied with silk ribbon and included a cinnamon stick and leaf (die cut at my daughter's pre-school:), and personalized with each guest's initial. So I'll stop now and let you take a look!
