Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Not only because we get to stuff our faces with lots of delicious homemade dishes but because it gives me an opportunity to look back and really be present to appreciate all that has transpired in the last 11 months. It also gives me a chance to share a happy day with the family and do what I love, decorate! For this year's dinner, I decided to create a table set up with a rustic feel. I kept the earthy fall color palette and introduced a modern multi color circle pattern coupled with some leaves placemats. I also chose to stay away from the usual pumpkins and acorns elements and replaced it with some beautiful bronze glass owls, wood squares, moss balls which were detailed with a crochet flowers (made by my mother) and a little bling. I also used some hydrangeas, mums, berries and cedar to create the beautiful centerpieces which complemented everything perfectly.
