I had my family over the day after Christmas for dinner. Obviously Christmas was over, but I wanted to create something that was pretty and felt like winter. So I came up with a snowflake theme. Wishing for snow since it was probably about 60 degrees outside in Virginia. Very warm December in general. I baked all the desserts. I wanted to stick to the theme, but wanted to throw some a little color in there and I love candy canes. I made the "S" shape chocolate fill candycanes for Snowflake. I printed the tags for free and added some sparkle to come. I created the centerpiece by spray painting tree branches I had found outside and use two swirly ones from "hobby lobby". I really wanted to make it seems like snowflakes were falling, so besides that cookies i created, I had snowflakes flaking as a backdrop. So fun, everyone enjoyed the desserts, especially the snowflake cookies!!
