Hostess With The Mostess

This baby shower is for a baby girl, the mommy to be is a trail runner and loves the outdoors. So we kept the theme a cute woodland, with trees, ladybugs, a lake and picnic. 

Using construction paper we made a tree along the wall, with a flower, bunny, birdie to accent. 

The guestbook is a tree with paper leaves for the guests to write their well wishes, baby advice etc... on to hang on the tree. 

The food all matched the theme, with "mushrooms" made out of cheese and tomatoes on top. A gummi raspberry trees was added. Along with banana chips, mixed nutes (food for the birds), brownies (Tree bark) and the favorite picnic area was a S'mores bar. The centerpiece of the table is using brown square plates as the tree trunk, then green round plates to make the top of the tree.  Yellow paper fans were hung from the ceiling to act as the sun. 

The lake has a cute ducky diaper cake floating in it along with Goldfish baked snack crackers. 

Games included guessing the baby food, designing a baby bib and answering questions based on what the new mommy would say.
