Hostess With The Mostess

We celebrated my son's 5th birthday at home with a superhero theme! His only request was a superhero jumper so I had to work around that!  I used black and white polka dot fabric and gift wrap to decorate the kids table and dessert table.  I used buckets to hold the signs that I designed and printed.  We made capes out of felt for each superhero!  They also received masks, tattoos, rings for girl superheros, arm bands, and a cute bag to carry it all.  The dessert table held the cake and superhero cake pops.  Surrounding the dessert table was a giant black spider web complete with spiders.  Bottles of water were wrapped in polka dot packaging tape to coordinate with the tablecloths.  Blue and red gumballs were displayed in a glass apothecary jar. I made superhero shirts for the birthday boy and his sister too.  It was a fun day for both kids and adults!
