Hostess With The Mostess

This is a teddy bear themed baby shower for boys. This shower was budget friendly and some of the items were hand made or decorated. The blue colors can easily be changed to pink or any other color to suit your gender. I didn't want it to feel like a simple party, I wanted to create an experience, so iwent crazy with decor. 

DIY Items:

The invitations were created from scratch. I just looked up teddy bear images i liked, wrote a poem underneath and created a stripe pattern that included my colors. Invitations were mailed via internet. Total cost: $0

The Favors were made using recycled baby food bottles, Brown Spray paint for the tops, I ordered customized stickers for the tops,a ribbon for the center and blue candy for the filling. Total Cost per customized favor: $1.90

The mom and dad to be bows were made by hand using ribbons and a glue gun. Total cost per Bow: $3 (I used left over ribbon material, so actual cost is less)

The balloon wieghts were made using leftover baby food bottles, blue tissue paper, blue celophane paper and ribbon. Bottles can be filled with water, sugar, rice, etc. Total cost per weight:  $0.30
