Hostess With The Mostess

I was thrilled when I was hired to create a Curious George Theme dessert buffet for my client's baby boy's first Birthday.  I knew right away that I wanted to incorporate the yellow hat and real bananas into the design. The color scheme was from the books themselves.  Bright yellow and red and started with the bold stripe backdrop and table runners which was just wrapping paper and foam core board. I then created the DIY pinwheels, paper fans, cupcake toppers and lollipop flags out of more colorful paper, some was Curious George theme printable paper that I purchased from Photo Designz on Etsy for only $3.00.  The logo and the image of his face were just found in an image search on google.  Ribbons, paper cut outs and colorful candy went a long way in this design and I had so much fun creating it
