Hostess With The Mostess

My daughter gave me quite a challenge for her 13th birthday party. She wanted a pool party at home with zebra print, purple, torquoise, lime, and very little pink since it is for little girls (and moms) and not teenagers, according to her! What I came up with was a luau theme with flip flops and zebra print and of course my favorite, leopard print! I served typical kid food of hot dogs, hamburgers, chips & dips, and my daughter's favorite cheesy potatoes. The dessert bar featured her favorite candies and pineapple shaped cake pops that tasted better than they looked. We asked her guests to bring their funkiest flip flops for a contest.
