Hostess With The Mostess

THE THEME:
Vintage Travel. I was after a vintage style and wanted to use pink but didn’t want it to end up too girly so paired it with a travel theme and navy as well. This theme was then used for the passport invite, postcard menus and luggage tag place cards. Colours were dusty pink and navy.

FLOWERS:
The brides and bridesmaids bouquets were a mixture of white, cream dusty pink and light pink David Austin roses and were wrapped with fabric from our dresses. I also had a pink brooch pinned to my flowers. 

BOMBONIERE:
For bonbonniere we ended up going with a lolly buffet. I organised it myself. I got the jars from a friend who got married a few months before me, bought the lollies wholesale and made the bags and sign myself. I got real handy with Photoshop with all the DIY projects I did for the decorating.

THE WEDDING CAKE:
We had a 2 tier cake, top layer was Gluten Free chocolate mud cake and the bottom layer was white and caramel mud cake. It was covered with light pink icing and white sugar flowers.
