Hostess With The Mostess

In anticipation of a summer student exchange trip, the theme for my daughter's birthday party was a Patisserie in Paris.  I made a dessert table that resembled a french bakery, down to the chalkboard menu and euro prices. We all enjoyed eating the cream puffs, macaroons, fruit tarts, palmiers and meringues. Beautiful french pastry artwork decorated the walls. My tea set and china cups added to the feel of a real coffee shop. It was a nice way to celebrate my daughter's birthday and a great send off for her trip to Paris.
