Sweet Event Design for Becky's Fund Charity Fundraiser

Venue-  Virginia Gold Cup Races 2012, The Plains VA 

Theme-  Derby, Equestrian

Color Scheme-  Yellow & Black;  Yellow, Black and Green

The Gold Cup Races are Virginia's horse derby, bringing out all of  Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia finest in their bright dresses, big hats  and preppy attire.  We were thrilled to work with one of our favorite charities this year, Becky's Fund, a non-profit organization focused on domestic and dating violence awareness and education. 

For this years  "Investing in Hope" fundraiser  we created two candy & dessert tables.  A giant horse topiary centerpiece with a Becky's Fund logo saddle cloth was an instant eye catcher for the general admission tent.  Yellow and green candy filled jars filled the table.  Cookies, donuts, marshmallows and more were piled high.  Glassine bags with Becky's logo and website in yellow baskets were placed at each end for guests to fill and take.

The VIP table was decorated with a beautiful bright yellow floral centerpiece.  White porcelain horse heads shined at each side and glass apothecary jars filled with yellow candies and desserts gleamed.  Cake bites, chocolate truffles, cinnamon roll lollipops and more filled the decadent display.   Popcorn treat bags wrapped in yellow and green gingham were piled high in planters at each end of the table.  

We  filled hundreds of treat packs with lemon candies and  business cards for our promotional girls in derby hats and sundresses to pass out to guests.   Snack boxes of popcorn, candies, nuts and gum were placed at each VIP table. 

The event was a huge success and we were so excited with the pictures from everything we could hardly wait to share!
