Vintage Carriage Baby Reale Shower (34 photos)
I recently held my baby shower at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto, Ontario and chose the theme 'Vintage Carriage'. My goal for the shower was to have a beautiful, soft and feminine event in honour of our baby girl to be born.
Prior to the event date, guests were sent a custom made and designed letterpress invitation that featured a personalized vintage carriage pressed in gold, created by Palettera Custom Correspondences. The vintage carriage was customized with the name ‘Baby Reale’ and the letter ‘R’ as part of the carriage design. The invitation was part of a suite of customized stationary that was present throughout the day, including seating cards, Lucite signs for the beauty bar, Thank you labels for the gift bags and thank you tags and gorgeous dessert cards.
As guests entered the room, they were greeted with stunning decor made up of soft pink, white and gold tones. Each table had a centerpiece made up of vintage umbrellas adorned with orchids and pink roses and wrapped in vines and leaves. The base of the centerpiece also had an arrangement of orchids and roses. Each guest also had a customized cookie in the shape of a carriage on their place setting, mimicking the carriage featured on the invitation. The cookies were wrapped with a crystal soother and ribbon. Enaya of EME Inc. ensured that the day went seamlessly and that all of the details I had envisioned were present.
Guests were treated to a brunch buffet catered by the Four Seasons Hotel. A customized couture dessert station then preceded which featured desserts also catered by the four seasons, as well as specialty items that were outsourced. The celebration cake featured a 3 tier creation customized with pink and gold details including ribbons and lace and featured the customized carriage on top. Other treats on the dessert table included caramel corn in popcorn boxes pressed with the gold carriage and customized chocolate bars.
As a thank you gift to take home, guest visited a ‘Beauty Bar’ which featured a selection of high-end beauty products for them to choose from to create a ‘swag bag’.
