Pinata time. Rainbow cupcake purchased from local Hobby Lobby. Once it broke open, the kids filled their gift bags with all kinds of candy goodies.

I didn't want to do anything "character" related for my daughter's first birthday, so I went with a rainbow theme. We have a huge family and lots of friends, so this party was going to be a bash with 70+ people. Trying to be creative and on a budget was difficult, but I think I made it happen. We kept the menu simple and I did everything else myself. The one thing we splurged on was a Bounce House for the kids. With 15+ kids attending it was fantastic to have there!
