My daughter wanted a pool party and I found a lot of inspiring color combinations, but she chose pink and green polka dots. At printyourparty.com I found some Christmas gift tags that were the perfect combination of pink, green, polka dots and stripes. I was able to personalize them, so I printed them on sticker paper. I wrapped different size boxes (my husband thought I was crazy for keeping all sorts of "useless" boxes!) then I use ribbons to improve their look. I used clear vases to put some gum balls (pink and green of course). Another vase was for the lollipop swirls which inside I put a small wrapped piece of styrofoam to secure the lollipops and then filled it with pink tulle. I made the tablecloth with fabric (Old Time Pottery) and added green ribbon to tie everything together. The happy birthday banner I printed it out from andersruff.com, luckily I was able to spell my daughter's name (I got creative with the letter N-previously H)The favors were a beach towel and personalized sunblock. Cupcakes were special ordered at my local Sam's Club (vanilla and chocolate), my super talented mom and I made the cake (vanilla and chocolate with caramel and chocolate pudding filling) Hope you like my Splish Splash Birthday Bash :-)
