Hostess With The Mostess

My little girl turned 6 and wanted a "Camping" themed birthday party.  To set the scene we set up tents in the backyard and built a faux campfire.  The kids went on a bug scavenger hunt for fake bugs that were hidden in the yard.  Other activities included making a pet rock and singing songs by the fire.  I also made my own pinata in the shape of a bee hive.  You can see more of it on my blog at lilybugdesigns.blogspot.com/2012/05/camping-birthday-party.html
