Hostess With The Mostess

The theme for the party was chosen in honor of the bride, who is an artist.

The food played an imporant part of pulling together the theme. French macarons were chosen in various colors pulled from the invitation. The cake pops were designed with a marbled effect to mirror the watercolor inviation and paper goods.

For the dessert table focal point, an open easel displayed an arrangement of mini cupcakes and a 'Love' banner. To play up the art theme, an art chip garland was used against a backdrop of large windows.  Rather than a guest book, guests were asked to sign paint chips and attach them to a blank canvas for the bride, creating her very own watercolor painting filled with warm wishes and marriage advice from her guests.
