Drake loves Curious George books and sure is a curious little guy. This party was a fun and interactive way to invite all his primate pals over for some good and messy fun. Invitations encouraged play clothes and a donation of a book in lieu of a toy for Joplin, MO libraries destroyed by tornadoes. Paint stations... bouncy balls and houses... bubble-catching nets... and a toddler toy area kept all guests celebrating curiosity. A "fill up your plate and tummy" attitude kept party-goers visiting a pizza buffet, ice-cream sundae station (including DIY little yellow hat cups), a candy bar, and sweet monkey munchies (moon pies, Zingers, and Mom's Killer Cake Pops). Curious George book titles, themes, and pages were incorporated everywhere from pinwheel treat toppers, banners, and gingham paper goods. The birthday boy treated himself to a banana cream pie topped with a fondant Curious Drake and mini bananas. It was a sunny celebration and a very good day for Curious Drake.
