Decorating for your ladybug party is a breeze with the help of some fabulous Etsy shops and vendors. This party was divided up into three separate stations for the kids to enjoy: a dessert table, the party favor table and a fun little picnic/play area where all the activities took place. As the centerpiece of both the dessert and party favor table, I turned to the talented shop Pedestals to help me out. They create AMAZING stands for all your party, wedding and event needs. And these stands are no joke; they are sturdy, large and impeccably made. Amber was so great to customize my pedestal and create exactly what I was looking for. In all honesty, I feel like the stand ‘made the party.’ It was such a great focal point and provided the height the structure that I was looking for. You can purchase your own stand here.

To compliment the amazing  pedestal, I called upon my favorite partier Nancy of A to Zebra Celebrations to create the darling ribbon banner hanging on the front of the dessert table. Not only do I adore Nancy, I love her styling and fun products. The ribbon banner was a perfect look for this table. You can purchase this item here.

And of course no Love The Day Party would be complete without our coordinating sewn decor from Sew Love The Day. We created some super fun patterns to coordinate with this party: ladybug wands, hair and shoe clips and ladybug pillows/party seats! The ladybug wands were used throughout the party, coming out of the flower arrangements, hung to the backdrop and stapled to the table corners. The pattern is simple and a complete non-sewer could create these without any  trouble. The pillows, my most favorite part, created a little seats for the ladybugs to sit on while they played games and made bracelets. The girls LOVED them and they are fabulous party favors. Both patterns can be purchased here and here.

No party is complete without activities and games. I’m all about playing traditional party games that we all know and love, but putting a fun twist on them so that they fit the party theme. For the ladybug party we played musical ladybugs, pin the heart on the ladybug and made little lady bracelets.

We started out making little lady bracelets! The girls had so much fun and it was SO easy to prepare for. I purchased that fun stretchy boon-doogle stuff, a few packets of beads and placed them in fun little bowls. Easy as that!

And now to the most important aspect of any party, the treats! I always outsource the goodies to save time and as I am a pretty mediocre baker. And lucky for me I found the most DARLING bakery shop in Austin! The Sugar Shack, owned by a mother & daughter provided the chocolate and red velvet cupcakes and created the chocolate ladybug truffles to match my Ladybug Printable Collection. Not only were the cupcakes darling, they were so absolutely scrumptious! The chocolate frosting was ridiculous! And the truffles were a huge hit. The girls loved the little bites of ladybug goodness. If you live in Austin, you NEED to stop by The Sugar Shack and meet this fun family and taste some of their goodies. I’m dying to get my hands on their cinnamon buns.

The adorable ladybug cookies were sent by The Cookie Jar. Iced cookies are all the rage, and although there are handfuls of talented cookie designers out there, The Cookie Jar continues to be one of my favorite shops. Their cookies are fantastic, perfectly iced and have a fabulous vanilla flavor. And seriously how fabulous are the flowers and ladybugs? They can be purchased here.

The last treats that were served, were brownie bites in party cups provided by Sofies Big Day. I used these darling polka dot cups, filled them with brownie batter and topped them with a red gum-ball. I am obsessed with coordinating party straws, cups, wrappers, etc and Sofies Big Day has loads of fantastic party supplies. The chevron bags, striped straws and polka dot cups can all by found here, here and here.

Wrapping up ladybug week with fun accessories! I love coordinating clothes, bows, shirts, pretty much anything to match a party theme. With the help of Wild Things Dresses, Sew Love The Day and Shiloh Mystie Design the little ladybugs were perfectly coordinated for the event.

Wild Things Dresses, my new favorite shop designed and created the Ladybug Dress. Their shop is stocked with colorful and fun-themed dresses perfect for any occasion. The fox and baby chick dress are my total favorites. You will for sure see the bumble bee dress in an upcoming party. I can’t get enough!  So if you have or know a little baby girl, you must head over to this cute shop and place your order.

And no dress in complete with matching bows and hair clips! Sew Love The Day has created a super fun & easy tutorial to make your own clips to match any party. The patterns can be found here. I love how they complimented the dresses, ladybug wings and partyd decor. And the kids LOVED putting the clips on their shoes.

Lastly, Shiloh Mystie Design created the ladybug headbands as party favors for each guest! Placed inside Sofies Big Day’s chevron party bags, the ladybug headbands were a fun little surprise for each girl as they walked in the door. The headbands were impressively constructed and the party girls adored the fun feathers! Shiloh has a great selections of headbands that can be found here:
