What exactly is jicama? I have never heard of it. Where can one buy this?

Hi! Here's a good link explaining exactly what it is: http://kitchen-parade-veggieventure.blogspot.com/2011/05/what-is-jicama.html I grew up in Mexico so I'm very familiar with them, even if you don't like spicy stuff, try these pops with lime and salt, you will love them :)

You must try these, they are AMAZING... I tried them for the first time at a friend's party and couldn't get enough of them, so I called my friend from Stella Rose Blog and asked her to photograph this tutorial (they turned out gorgeous) and share with all of you. Enjoy!

Jicama popsicles
Step 1. Peel and chop a jicama or yam bean in the shape of a popsicle.
Step 2.  Insert  flat lollipop sticks in each one.
Step 3&4. Season with salt, lime, dip in chamoy and chili powder or whatever your taste buds desire. Yum!
