Hostess With The Mostess

I have boy/girl twins who love to watch Sesame Street. I used 5 main characters and colors to highlight at the party; Elmo (red, for my son), Abby Cadabby (pink, for my daughter), Big Bird (Yellow), Cookie Monster (blue) and Oscar (green). My dessert table featured two cupcake towers with cupcakes in all 5 characters and a small smash cake at the top. I made chocolate chip cookies to give out as thank yous, rice krispie treats and oreo cakesters as other fun sweets. Since we had quite a few little ones I also had a Cheerio Bar featuring 5 Flavors; Plain, Apple Cinnamon, Honey Nut, Frosted and MultiGrain. This was a big hit with the moms and little ones!

I also made favor bags with goodies for the little ones at the party so they'd have something to feel special too. The other hit of the party was the photo booth; I painted the canvas backdrop and my husband made a Sesame Street inspired light post complete with a persoanlized name sign.
