Hostess With The Mostess

This event was a surprise birthday dinner party in St. Louis, MO.  It was a personal small gathering and perfect for any kind of dinner party!

The party was designed around the food and wine.  A personal chef was brought in to cook and there was a 5 course meal with amazing wine pairings for each course.  There was homemade risotto, filet and incredible birthday cake!

The idea was for everything to be interactive and open, the table was set up right next to the kitchen so all the activity could be seen!  The chef came out and explained each course and the importance of the wine pairings.  It was such a neat aspect to be able to watch the food being cooked right in front of the diners.

This party took place in the later summer and therefore we did late summer/fall colors.  The rich reds, oranges and browns really complimented the table cloth and flowers.  Every detail was thought on from the red chair covers to the homemade chalk board menu cards.
