Hostess With The Mostess

I wanted to do a fairy themed shower, but didn't want the focus to be on a fairy, per say. I was more excited for the whimsy aspect! Fairy wands, tulle, sliver, sparkle, and LOTS of pink!

I made so many of the decorations by hand. This was a baby shower for my younger sister, and I wanted it to be a special event.

I repainted furniture, and even repurposed an old gumball machine that I found in my shed. It was a last minute thought to put pink & white circus animal cookies inside. 

My backdrop consisted of a pink door. This door was FREE from my neighbor down the street. I repainted it, added gray polka dots, and 2 gray panels for curtains. Hanging from the door was a wreath that I made out of coffee filters, and a pool noodle. I added a few touches, and it went well with the rest of the party decor.

Because I don't have a cricut machine, I made the banners by hand. I also made the diaper cake - first time ever doing that! 

I created the menus, and wrapped the forks & spoons inside napkins, and made tulle napkinrings.
